The Ironton-Lawrence Community Action Organization began offering medical care in a small facility in 1969. Now with eight medical centers across all of Lawrence County, experienced and affordable health care is always nearby. Family Medical Centers accepts all forms of private and public insurance, offers sliding fee scales for qualifying self-pay patients, and will never refuse care due to inability to pay. This is in furtherance of our mission: “To measurably improve the well-being of our community by providing opportunities to those in need.” and in keeping with our refrain “Just like family, we’ll take care of you.”
