Just like family, we’ll take care of you. It’s our ability to get you in the day that you need to be seen. Our ability to offer affordable care. Our ability to offer quality care. You can’t find better quality.
Molly Johnson, DNP, APRN-CPNP
Pediatrics, Family Medical Centers Family Care
Molly Johnson is a pediatric nurse practitioner working at FMC Chesapeake.
Johnson wants to ensure healthcare for all children, regardless of their geographical location. She understands that, because of location and economic hardship, children can often face barriers with healthcare access. She believes every child should be able to receive regular checkups that will promote their overall well-being.
Molly was inspired to enter the medical field in high school. Her friend was diagnosed with cancer and seeing the empathy and compassion from the nurses touched her. She decided to enter the healthcare field to simply help where it is needed.
Molly, who is originally from Louisa, KY, has dedicated herself to serving the children of Lawrence County with empathy and compassion. She received her education at Marshall University, University of Kentucky, and Northern Kentucky University. In addition to her work at FMC Chesapeake, Molly is also a nursing professor at Ohio University.
